Lipstick Love | Rimmel By Kate Moss - 02

Hey there :)

I love lipstick, but I don't really wear it as often as I'd like. This is due to the fact that I find it hard to find one that I know's going to stay put all day without me having to keep checking on it (I'm far too lazy for that!). As a result of my desperate need for the perfect lipstick, I'm always trying out different ones, but nothing really impressed me, until now...

 

Now I know alot of people rave on about the Kate Moss collection but to be honest, I've never really fancied trying them, I always found the choice of shades a tad boring and uninspiring, but then I came across this beauty...

When I first saw this shade, I instantly fell in love! The colour is a beautiful raspberry pink, which when applied, gives you a really vivid pop of colour, which is great for when you want to do a quick look but still want to look a bit glamorous. The formula is amazing, it feels really moisturizing but sets with a matte satin finish so it doesn't move about like other moisturizing ones (great for someone like me who gets dry lips often) and it's not chalky like quite a few matte ones out there. As it's a matte product, you kinda expect it to have longevity, but this one lasts like nothing I've ever seen before...worn as a stain or layered up, it doesn't matter, it lasts for hours and is almost impossible to remove!

Although this product has excellent staying power, it does, however, make it extremely hard to correct any mistakes so I would suggest using a lip brush to build the colour and shape up slowly. Another thing is that I HATE the smell! It has a kinda musky, berry smell (like a christmas candle), which can be a bit off putting, but it's a small price to pay for such a fantastic quality product... I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and at £5.49, you'd be a fool not to!
